Attack Of The Green Smoothie

Greens contain valuable vitamins, minerals and superior antioxidants that are essential for your little to grow and thrive.

If you didn't get lucky with one of those littles who loves their greens and even asks for seconds, summer brings good news! Green smoothies are a great way to get greens into your little during the warmer months.

Here's one of our favorites recipes:

Green Mustache Smoothie

*1 frozen banana (be sure to peel banana before freezing)

*1-2 handfuls of spinach (for more adventurous littles, try kale)

*1 heaping spoonful of your favorite nut butter, or sunflower butter

*8 oz coconut milk

Toss all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Get your little excited about the smoothie by having them help you with the process. Once it's nice and smooth, pour the fresh green smoothie it into a cup, hand it over to your little, and then watch. They will love it and will probably ask for more!
